Items Allowed in Exam Hall for Compartment Exam

CBSE has issued a detailed notice on the allowed And not allowed items/Activities for the students appearing in CBSE Compartment Exam 2020. Here you can get the important instructions related to Compartment Exam.

Read the following instructions very carefully before going to appear in CBSE Compartment Exam.

To ensure that these exams are conducted safely ensuring the health and well-being of yourself and other candidates you are permitted to carry the following items in the exam hall-

  • You will carry a pocket hand sanitizer (50 ml) in transparent bottle.
  • You will cover your face with mask
  • Hand gloves should be used only on hands
  • Transparent water bottle for personal use.
  • Admit card and School identity card.
  1. You will cover your nose and mouth with mask.
  2. You will follow social distancing norms strictly.
  3. You will carry your own drinking water.
  4. You will throw used tissues/face mask, if any, into closed bins immediately after use.
  5. You will maintain good hygiene in toilets during and after use.
  6. You will follow all instructions displayed in examination centre and communicated to you.

Compartment Exam Important Instructions

Items/Activities not Allowed in Compartment Exam

CBSE has warned the students and has suggested not to do some activities in the school campus or exam hall of CBSE Compartment exam 2020.

  1. You will seek advice on Covid-19 from your parents while coming or leaving for examination.
  2. You will use safe mode of transportation for coming to the examination centre and returning back to home.
  3. You should try to avoid contact with unknown persons.
  4. You should not touch your nose or mouth with unwashed hands.
  5. You will not shake hands or hug at any cost while greeting.
  6. You will defend yourself from spitting in public places.
  7. You will not exchange or loan articles inside examination rooms.
  8. You should be confident that you are not infected or having symptoms of Covid.

What If You Don’t have Photo On Compartment Exam Admit Card

Various students have complained that photo  is not being shown on their admit card. Will it cause any problem?

CBSE has not made it clear that what will happen if photo is not present on the admit card of students appearing for compartment examination. Normally, it should not cause any problem to the students even then you are advised to send an email to your regional office regarding absence of photograph on your admit card. If the problem doesn’t get resolved, carry your passport size photograph with you and get it verified on Exam Center.

Is School Identity Card Required for Private Students during CBSE Compartment Exam?

If you have filled your CBSE Compartment exam form as a private candidate then obviously you won’t have school identity card. So don’t take tension. If you have identity card of your previous school then you may carry it to the exam centre. If you you don’t have your previous school identity card then you should take any identity card provided by government of India like Aadhar, PAN card etc.

Dress for CBSE Compartment exam 2020

If you are regular candidate then you are expected to bear your school dress while appearing for CBSE Compartment exam. On the other hand if you are appearing as private candidate then bear any formal dress during examination.
